We combine deep technical research expertise with real-world agricultural impact. Our innovation strength and momentum have been recognised by our recent win inaugural ESA Phi-Lab UK programme—a major signal of our credibility as we develop new foundation models and generative tools.
We are at an exciting inflection point: rapidly expanding into new markets and advancing cutting-edge AI capabilities. Join us as we scale.
The Role
We are seeking an ambitious, hands-on Founder's Associate (2–5 years experience) to work directly with the CEO in a highly entrepreneurial role. This is a fast-paced, delivery-heavy position suited to proactive self-starters who thrive in ambiguity and love ownership.
As a Founder's Associate, you will be the ultimate generalist, effortlessly switching between customer problem-solving, technical product work, operational management, and commercial strategy. You will have a central role in delivering on our ESA-backed innovation program as we scale our SoilCarbonAI project and explore new Earth Observation and Generative AI capabilities.
What You’ll Own and Deliver
Strategic and Operational Support: Work closely with the CEO on high-priority, cross-functional initiatives across commercial strategy, product, and operations.
Customer Success and Account Health: Own key customer relationships, managing onboarding, issue resolution, product guidance, and ensuring long-term account success.
Product Translation: Translate complex user needs and market insights into clear, actionable product requirements, collaborating directly with technical teams on roadmap delivery.
Commercial and Reporting: Produce high-quality proposals, commercial documents, investor materials, internal analytics, and essential operational reporting.
Technical Communication: Break down complex AI and geospatial concepts simply and compellingly for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Innovation Program Execution: Play a central role in executing the ESA Phi-Lab program and other cutting-edge research and innovation projects.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing role such as Product Management, Consulting, Operations, or a Technical role.
Technical Fluency: A grasp of AI/ML concepts and the ability to articulate them simply to a non-technical audience.
A Passion for Impact: Genuine enthusiasm for sustainability, food systems, and tackling climate impact through technology.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to manage relationships effectively across customers, engineering teams, and partners.
Startup DNA: A self-starter mentality—scrappy, proactive, and deeply comfortable with autonomy and a high degree of ownership.
Growth Mindset: Excited to build, learn fast, and thrive in a high-momentum, rapidly evolving startup environment.
Why Join Deep Planet
Direct Impact: Work side-by-side with the CEO on high-impact strategic and operational challenges that directly influence the company's trajectory.
Pioneer AI: Join a world-class geospatial AI team pioneering cutting-edge research in Earth Observation, AI, and climate tech.
